  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour (213g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda (2g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder (4g)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (176g), room temperature
  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (120ml)
  • 1/2 cup milk (120ml)
  • 1/31/2 cup sprinkles (55g)
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Optional Decorations:

  • Buttercream frosting or ganache
  • Extra sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough:
    • Preheat your oven to 340°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
    • Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a bowl. Whisk to combine.
    • In another bowl, whisk the egg whites, vanilla extract, sour cream, and milk.
    • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Gradually add the dry and wet ingredients alternately.
    • Fold in the sprinkles gently.
  • Shape and Bake:
    • Scoop the dough into evenly sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
    • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
  • Optional Decoration:
    • Add frosting or ganache and sprinkle additional sprinkles on top for a festive finish.
