  • 23 drops pink food coloring gel
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles (various shapes and colors)
  • 1012 black edible pearls (or small black sugar decorations) for ghost eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy; add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients, alternating with milk until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into six portions.
  6. Prepare pink frosting by beating butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and pink food coloring until fluffy.
