Description

Indulge in the irresistible delight of Oreo Truffles, the perfect no-bake dessert that combines the rich, chocolatey flavor of crushed Oreo cookies with creamy cream cheese. Coated in a luscious layer of dark and white chocolate, these bite-sized treats are topped with crunchy cookie crumbs for an added texture. Ideal for gatherings or simply as a sweet escape from the everyday, these truffles are sure to impress both friends and family. With just a few simple ingredients and easy steps, you can create these decadent delights at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 ounce) package Oreo cookies, divided
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces dark melting chocolate, chopped
  • 8 ounces white melting chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Reserve 1/2 cup of Oreo cookies for topping. Finely crush the remaining Oreo cookies in a food processor until they resemble fine crumbs.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely crushed Oreo cookies and softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until a uniform dough forms.
  3. Roll the cookie mixture into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the truffle balls for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the dark melting chocolate and white melting chocolate. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place the dipped truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Immediately sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreo cookies on top of the still-wet chocolate coating. If desired, drizzle some truffles coated in dark chocolate with white chocolate, and some truffles coated in white chocolate with dark chocolate, using a fork or spoon for decorative lines.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is set.
