Ingredients

  • 2 large filleted chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of KC Masterpiece Sweet Honey BBQ Sauce & Dry Rub
  • 2/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 4 slices of grilled pineapple
  • 4 slices of red onion
  • 4 large pieces of lettuce
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Rub the dry rub onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
  2. Grill or cook the chicken in a greased skillet over medium heat until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  3. Mix remaining dry rub with pineapple juice in a bowl to create the sauce.
  4. Generously brush the sauce over the cooked chicken.
  5. Assemble sandwiches starting with lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by chicken, grilled pineapple, red onion, and another piece of lettuce.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
