Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated flaky layers biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen mixed vegetables, sliced mushrooms, dried thyme, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits and arrange them on top of the chicken mixture with space in between each.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  6. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
