  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 (11.36-ounce) box Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, whole milk, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; mix well.
  3. Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix according to package instructions using cold water; fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Spoon biscuit dough over the chicken mixture to cover as much as possible.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  7. Melt unsalted butter and brush over hot biscuits once removed from oven.
