Description

Crispy, cheesy, and packed with taco flavor, these Wonton Taco Cups are the perfect appetizer or snack. Baked in a muffin tin, they offer all the flavors of classic tacos in a crunchy, bite-sized form. Perfect for parties, meal prep, and easy weeknight dinners!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ Onion, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp Taco Seasoning (or 1 packet)
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10 oz) Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
  • 24 Wonton Wrappers

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  • Add onions & taco seasoning, cooking until onions soften.
  • Mix in tomatoes and water; simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Assemble cups: Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin tin cup.
  • Layer filling & cheese: Add meat, cheese, and a second wonton wrapper. Repeat layers.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and green onions for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-7 days.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months and reheat in the oven at 350°F.
