Description

A creamy, tangy whipped feta spread topped with oven-roasted balsamic strawberries, honey drizzle, and fresh basil. A stunning appetizer perfect for entertaining.

For the Whipped Feta:

  • 8 oz feta (block, crumbled)

  • 1/3 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • Pinch of black pepper

For the Roasted Strawberries:

  • 1 lb strawberries, halved

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp honey

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh basil

  • Extra honey

  • Crushed pistachios


Instructions

  • Add feta, sour cream/yogurt, olive oil, honey, and pepper to a food processor. Blend until smooth.

  • Transfer to a bowl. Chill for 1 hour.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Place strawberries on sheet. Drizzle with balsamic and honey.

  • Roast for 12–15 minutes. Let cool.

  • Spread whipped feta onto a serving dish.

  • Top with strawberries and their juices.

 

  • Garnish with basil and honey. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use block feta for best results.

  • Full-fat yogurt or sour cream adds creaminess.

  • Roasted strawberries can be made 1 day ahead.

 

  • For extra depth, infuse olive oil with herbs before using.
