  • 1 medium head cauliflower (about 4 cups large florets)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 cup vegan mayo
  • Panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) or air fryer to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, onion, garlic, ginger, salt, and gradually whisk in non-dairy milk until smooth.
  3. Dip cauliflower florets in batter and coat with Panko crumbs.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown. For air frying, cook for 15–25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing Thai sweet chili sauce and vegan mayo in a bowl.
  6. Toss cooked cauliflower in the sauce and serve immediately.
