Ingredients
- 350g strong white flour
- 240ml plant-based milk (almond or soy)
- 7g dried yeast
- 2 tbsp soft brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soft brown sugar (filling)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 400g tin of apple fruit filling
- 1 tbsp vegan butter (topping)
Instructions
- Warm the plant-based milk until it's slightly warm.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, dried yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warmed milk and olive oil; mix until it forms a dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 3-5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough prove in an oiled bowl for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread apple filling mixed with sugar and cinnamon over it.
- Roll it up tightly, slice into pieces, and place in a baking tin.
- Allow to prove again for 45 minutes before brushing with melted vegan butter.
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 25-30 minutes until golden.
