Description

Stuffed Napa Cabbage Rolls are a comforting and nutritious dish that combines tender cabbage leaves with a savory filling of ground meat, rice, and aromatic spices.


Ingredients

  • 8 large Napa cabbage leaves
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Blanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2–3 minutes until softened; drain and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cooked rice, onion, garlic, seasonings, and beaten egg; mix well.
  3. Spoon filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly from the base up.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish and place rolls seam-side down; cover with remaining sauce and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until meat is cooked through and cabbage is tender.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving; garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
