Ingredients
Scale
- Base Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup cream of coconut
- 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice (or substitute with strawberry pineapple juice or milk)
- 1/4 cup strawberry or vanilla yogurt
- Frozen Fruits:
- 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
Instructions
- Add Ingredients to Blender:
- Start with the liquid (pineapple juice), followed by the cream of coconut, yogurt, and frozen fruit.
- Blend Smoothly:
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is creamy and all ingredients are combined. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.
- Adjust Consistency:
- If the smoothie is too thick, add more pineapple juice or milk. If it’s too thin, add more frozen fruit or a handful of ice.
- Serve and Garnish:
- Pour into glasses and garnish with a slice of pineapple, a fresh strawberry, or a sprinkle of shredded coconut.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt or omit the yogurt entirely.
- Adjust sweetness by adding a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, or balance with a splash of lemon juice.
- To make it a smoothie bowl, use less liquid and top with granola, fresh fruit, or chia seeds.
