  • Egg whites (as per cake mix instructions).
  • Water and oil (as per cake mix instructions).

For the Jello Layer:

  • 1 pack (3 oz) strawberry jello mix.
  • 1 cup boiling water.

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 1 tub (24.3 oz) Philadelphia no-bake cheesecake filling.

For the Strawberry Topping:

  • 2 packs (16 oz each) fresh strawberries.
  • ½ cup granulated sugar.

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Slice a portion of strawberries for garnish and chop the rest.
    • Mix the chopped strawberries with sugar and marinate in the fridge.
  • Bake the Cake:
    • Follow the box instructions to prepare the cake batter. Use egg whites for a lighter texture.
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, pour the batter, and bake at 350°F for 33 minutes.
  • Prepare the Jello Mixture:
    • Dissolve the strawberry jello mix in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Poke and Pour:
    • Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
    • Pour the jello mixture evenly over the warm cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  • Cool the Cake:
    • Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the jello set.
  • Add Cheesecake Filling:
    • Once the cake is cooled, spread the no-bake cheesecake filling evenly over the surface.
  • Top with Strawberries:
    • Arrange the sliced strawberries as a decorative border.
    • Spoon the marinated strawberries into the center and spread evenly.
  • Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the finished cake for another hour before serving. Slice and enjoy chilled!

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Ensure the cake is fully cooled before adding the cheesecake layer.
