Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (as desired)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and the melted chocolate mixture. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking powder together. Gradually mix into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool in the pan.
- For the mint swirl, mix powdered sugar, milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring until desired tint is achieved.
- Once cooled, spread the mint mixture over the brownies and swirl gently with a knife or toothpick for a marbled effect.
- Refrigerate for about an hour to set before cutting into squares.
