  • 14 ounces firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the drained tofu into bite-sized cubes and coat with cornstarch.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry tofu until golden brown and crispy (about 8-10 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return tofu to the skillet and toss with the sauce for an additional minute.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
