Description

This Spicy Honey Garlic Dipping Sauce is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. It's quick to make and pairs perfectly with chicken, shrimp, fries, and more!


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce

Instructions

  • Heat the oil: In a nonstick skillet, heat 1 tbsp canola oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté the garlic: Add minced garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add remaining ingredients: Stir in ¾ cup ketchup, ½ cup honey, and ¼ cup soy sauce. Mix well.
  • Simmer: Bring the sauce to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cool & serve: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before using as a dip or glaze.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add ½ tsp red pepper flakes or 1 tsp sriracha.
