For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for optional browning)
For the Gravy:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (for thickening)
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs – Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Brown (Optional but Recommended) – Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides.
- Assemble in Slow Cooker – Place meatballs in the slow cooker and pour in the beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Slow Cook – Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
- Thicken the Gravy – Stir in cornstarch slurry 30 minutes before serving to thicken.
- Serve & Enjoy – Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.

- For leaner meatballs, use ground turkey or lean beef (90/10).
- To make gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
