Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combines garlicky, buttery shrimp with perfectly cooked pasta and a cheesy, golden-baked topping. Easy and flavorful!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • Zest & juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Cook Pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Mix Shrimp & Seasonings: In a baking dish, combine garlic, shallots, red pepper flakes, paprika, olive oil, butter, wine, lemon zest, juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake Shrimp for 12 minutes or until pink and fully cooked.
  • Toss with Pasta and mix well.
  • Add Parmesan and gently stir to melt.
  • Serve Immediately, garnished with parsley and extra parmesan.

Notes

  • For a creamier version, add ¼ cup of heavy cream after baking.
  • To avoid overcooked shrimp, bake just until they turn pink.
  • Best served with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
