- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Prepare a baking sheet with a silpat liner or grease it lightly and sprinkle with cornmeal. - Make the Roasted Garlic White Sauce:
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the roasted garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Whisk in the flour to form a paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in the skim milk and half and half, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Season with black pepper and cook for about 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Set aside.
- Shape the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet or pizza stone. - Assemble the Pizza:
- Spread the roasted garlic white sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Top with shredded chicken, diced red onion, and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake the Pizza:
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 17 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted. - Add Fresh Herbs and Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with fresh thyme, dried oregano, and parsley. Slice and serve immediately.
