Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract, then gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  2. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out chilled dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick and cut out shapes using a bear-shaped cookie cutter.
  4. Place cookies on lined baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow them to cool completely.
