- ¼ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)

- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Season the flank steak with salt and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and cook until browned (about 2-3 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Sauté onion and bell peppers until tender (approximately 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, beef broth, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Return the beef to the skillet, pour the sauce over everything, stir to combine, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
