- ¼ teaspoon ginger
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup (60 g) heavy whipping cream
- 3 ounces vanilla yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 can (15.25 ounces) peaches, diced and juice reserved
- Vegetable or canola oil, for frying

- 1¼ cups (150 g) confectioners’ sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3–6 teaspoons reserved peach juice

- Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
- Prepare Wet Ingredients: Beat the whipping cream, yogurt, and egg in a separate bowl.
- Combine Mixtures: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced peaches.
- Heat Oil: Heat oil in a frying pan or Dutch oven to 375°F using a candy thermometer.
- Fry the Fritters: Drop ¼ cup portions of batter into the oil. Fry 2-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined rack.
- Prepare the Glaze: Mix confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and 3 teaspoons peach juice. Adjust consistency with more peach juice as needed.
- Glaze the Fritters: Drizzle the glaze over cooled fritters. Let set for 5-10 minutes before serving
