Description

Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge is a creamy, chocolatey dessert that’s quick and easy to make. Perfect for gifting or sharing at parties, this no-fail recipe uses simple ingredients like marshmallows, chocolate chips, and walnuts.

 


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ⅔ cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set.
  7. Once set, cut into 48 small pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Substitute walnuts with pecans, almonds, or omit nuts entirely if preferred.
  • For a festive twist, add crushed candy canes or a drizzle of white chocolate on top.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
