- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ⅔ cup evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set.
- Once set, cut into 48 small pieces and serve.
Notes
- Substitute walnuts with pecans, almonds, or omit nuts entirely if preferred.
- For a festive twist, add crushed candy canes or a drizzle of white chocolate on top.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
