  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  2. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a large pot and cook orecchiette according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve one cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Add broccoli florets, chicken broth, and remaining olive oil to the sausage mixture; cook until broccoli is tender (3–5 minutes). Stir in butter until melted.
  4. Combine drained pasta with the sausage-broccoli mix, adding Parmesan gradually. Use reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
