Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- For the sauce: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Coat flank steak slices with cornstarch and let rest for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok heated over medium-high heat with vegetable oil, stir-fry beef until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, carrot, and bell pepper in the same skillet until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes).
- Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Return beef to the skillet with vegetables; add sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Toss in cooked noodles until well coated.
