Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ cup celery, finely chopped
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of sourdough bread
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery, red onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Assemble sandwiches by spreading tuna salad on three slices of bread. Top each with cheddar cheese and another slice of bread. Repeat for the second layer.
