  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon thyme
  • ⅓ cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour and shake off excess.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the skillet for 1 minute. Deglaze with chicken stock, scraping up the flavorful bits.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese, simmering until the sauce thickens. Add chili flakes, oregano, and thyme.
  5. Mix in chopped sundried tomatoes, then return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
