Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add warmed milk, melted butter, egg, and lemon zest; mix until soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar with softened butter and lemon zest.
