Description

For the Filling:

  • 1 (12 oz) package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Butter:

  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the Frosting:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Separate the King’s Hawaiian Rolls and use a utensil handle to poke a hole into the side of each roll.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and fill each roll generously.
  5. Place the filled rolls into a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Evenly pour the cinnamon butter mixture over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. While baking, whisk together the frosting ingredients: cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy whipping cream.
  10. Remove the rolls from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  11. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the warm rolls.
