Description

Rich, creamy, and packed with fresh lump crab meat, this crab dip is a copycat of Joe’s Crab Shack’s famous recipe. Perfect for parties, gatherings, or a light lunch!

 


Ingredients

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 teaspoons yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 4 teaspoons green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 6 ounces lump crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, butter, and mayonnaise until smooth. Add seasoned salt and paprika.
  • Fold in the yellow onion, bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, and lump crab meat. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased shallow baking dish.
  • Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the edges bubble and the top is slightly golden.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with green onion and parsley. Serve warm with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
