  • 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups fish stock or broth
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic in olive oil until the onion is translucent (about 5 minutes).
  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, fish stock, white wine, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add shrimp, mussels, and calamari. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mussels open and shrimp turn pink; discard any unopened mussels.
