- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup milk or cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: ¼ tsp nutmeg or cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, milk, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
- Allow the pie to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
