  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 pieces of flatbread or pita bread
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced chicken, harissa paste, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Mix plain yogurt, lemon juice, and minced garlic in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Warm flatbreads and spread yogurt sauce on each. Top with cooked chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  5. Serve immediately by slicing into wedges.
