Easy Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs made with Pillsbury Grands biscuits, stuffed with melty cheese, and brushed with garlic butter. A perfect snack or appetizer for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-count) can Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
  • 4 sticks mozzarella string cheese, cut into eighths
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic (or ¼ tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a light-colored baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Biscuit Dough

  • Open the can of Pillsbury Grands biscuits and separate the rounds.
  • Cut each biscuit in half, creating 16 smaller pieces.
  • Flatten each dough piece into a ¼-inch thick round.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter

  • In a small bowl, mix together:
    • 4 tbsp melted butter
    • 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
    • 1 pinch of salt

Step 4: Stuff the Biscuits

  • Place 2 small pieces of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough round.
  • Fold the dough over the cheese and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  • Roll gently into a ball shape.

Step 5: Arrange on the Baking Sheet

  • Place each dough ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Leave about 1 inch of space between each piece.

Step 6: Brush with Garlic Butter

  • Use a pastry brush to coat each biscuit bomb with the prepared garlic butter mixture.

Step 7: Bake Until Golden

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately brush with more garlic butter for extra flavor.

Step 8: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dip.
  • Enjoy these gooey, cheesy biscuit bombs fresh out of the oven!

Notes

  • Use Light Baking Sheets: Dark sheets may cause the bottoms to burn.
  • Seal the Dough Well: If not sealed properly, the cheese may leak out while baking.
  • Try Different Cheeses: Use cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • Add Extra Fillings: Try adding pepperoni, cooked bacon, or jalapeños for variety.
  • Double the Butter Mixture: Brush again after baking for extra garlic flavor.
