- ¾ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons powdered ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

- 2 ½ tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
- ½ cup cold water (for gelatin)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the unflavored gelatin with ½ cup of cold water and let it bloom for 5-10 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, water, spices, and salt. Stir until dissolved and bring to a boil.
- Cook until the mixture reaches 240°F on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
