  • Crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and coffee granules. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla; blend until smooth. Stir in boiling water carefully.
