Oreo Crust
- 36 Oreo cookies
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Cream Cheese Layer
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Cool Whip
Chocolate Pudding Layer
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages chocolate instant pudding
- 2¾ cups cold milk
Topping
- 2 cups Cool Whip
- 1½ cups crushed Oreo cookies
- Peeps bunnies, for decoration
- Easter egg candies, for decoration
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Oreo Crust
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until combined.
- Spread evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
- Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
Step 3: Make the Chocolate Pudding Layer
- In a medium bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes to let it set.
Step 4: Add Whipped Topping & Decorations
- Spread 2 cups of Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
- Sprinkle with crushed Oreo cookies.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set properly.
- Just before serving, decorate with Peeps bunnies and Easter egg candies.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
- For clean slices, dip the knife in warm water and wipe clean between cuts.
