Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and half of the Easter candies.
- Scoop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets and press remaining candies on top for decoration.
- Bake for about 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden while centers remain soft.
- Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
