Ingredients
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes evenly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour half over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the Gruyère cheese on top.
- Layer the remaining sliced potatoes and pour the rest of the cream mixture over them; finish with remaining Gruyère and all Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
