Ingredients
- 400 g all-purpose flour
- 7 g instant yeast
- 15 g granulated sugar
- 7 g salt
- 35 ml sunflower oil
- 225 ml water
- 40 g unsalted butter (for dough)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, sunflower oil, and water. Mix well and knead the dough for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Divide the risen dough into two equal pieces.
- Roll each piece out on a floured surface into a round shape.
- Spread softened butter over one round and place the second round on top, then cut into 12 triangles.
- Roll each triangle from the wide base to the point to form croissants.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
