Description
Baked tilapia fillets coated in a savory Parmesan cheese crust with herbs and spices. Golden, crisp, and ready in 20 minutes—an easy dinner winner.
Ingredients
-
4 tilapia fillets (fresh or thawed, skinless)
-
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
-
2 teaspoons paprika
-
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
-
Olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment.
-
In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-
Pat tilapia dry. Lightly coat both sides with olive oil.
-
Press one side of each fillet into the Parmesan mixture. Place on the baking sheet, crust-side up.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is golden and fish flakes easily with a fork.
-
Let rest 1–2 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or lemon wedges.
Notes
-
Use grated Parmesan for best crust texture.
-
Tilapia should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F.
-
Let fish rest before slicing or serving to keep crust intact.
-
Double the coating mixture for extra crunch or to cover both sides.
