Irresistibly crispy and tender Bang Bang Salmon Bites coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for appetizers, parties, or a quick weeknight dinner!

For the Salmon:
- 1 ½ pounds salmon (about 4 filets), skins removed, cut into 1-inch bites
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1 cup (232 g) mayonnaise
- ½ cup (132 g) Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons honey
For Garnish:
- Fresh chives, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer or Oven
- For air fryer: Preheat to 390°F.
- For oven: Preheat to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Seasoning
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Season the Salmon
- Add salmon bites to the bowl and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Make the Bang Bang Sauce
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Reserve half for serving.
- Coat the Salmon in Sauce
- Toss seasoned salmon bites in the remaining Bang Bang sauce until evenly coated.
- Air Fry or Bake
- Air Fryer: Place salmon bites in a single layer and cook at 390°F for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through (internal temperature 140-145°F).
- Oven: Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 400°F for 16 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve and Garnish
- Drizzle the cooked salmon bites with reserved Bang Bang sauce. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the salmon bites with cooking spray before cooking.
- If using the oven, wait to add the sauce until after the salmon is cooked to avoid burning.
- Adjust the spice level of the sauce by adding more or less Sriracha to taste.
