  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes and stir well.
  4. Incorporate heavy cream, dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and crispy chicken with the sauce; toss gently to mix. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
