  • 450 g ribeye steak
  • 300 g rigatoni pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup double cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Paprika
  • Dried parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season ribeye steaks with paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper; drizzle with olive oil and let marinate.
  2. Dice onion, mince garlic, chop parsley, and grate parmesan.
  3. Sear seasoned steaks in a hot frying pan for about 1 minute on each side; let rest.
  4. Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  5. In the same pan used for the steak, sauté onion in butter until soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken stock (and white wine if using) to deglaze the pan; stir in double cream and parmesan until melted.
  7. Toss rigatoni with sauce; add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  8. Slice rested steak and serve atop the creamy pasta.
