  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned and drain excess fat.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the beef; stir well to combine.
  5. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring; bring to a simmer.
  6. Mix in heavy cream and Italian seasoning; simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  7. Stir in cooked pasta shells and shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
