  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (15ml)
  • 6 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
  • ½ onion (white, brown, or yellow), sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 spring onions, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce: Mix oyster sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, water, and cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry chicken for 1-2 minutes until no longer pink. Remove from wok.
  • Sauté the Aromatics: Add onions, garlic, and ginger to the wok. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Combine Everything: Return the chicken to the wok, add green onions, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the Sauce: Pour the sauce into the wok, stirring quickly until thickened.
  • Serve Immediately: Enjoy hot with rice or noodles.
