Ingredients
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24–30 ladyfingers
- 1 cup cherry pie filling or fresh cherries
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, mix the cooled coffee with coffee liqueur if using. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and layer half of them in a 9×9-inch dish.
