- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup melted butter

- If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch it until tender yet crisp. If using frozen broccoli, thaw and pat it dry.
- Cook rice according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Add garlic powder or paprika, if desired.
- Stir in the cooked rice, broccoli, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Mix until evenly combined.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and transfer the mixture into it. Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese on top.
- Optional: Add a crunchy topping like crushed crackers, breadcrumbs, or French-fried onions.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
