  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and rub with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon skin-side up for about 3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and garlic; simmer for a few minutes. Add lemon juice before removing from heat.
  4. Pour the sauce over the salmon and spoon it continuously while cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until fully cooked through.
  5. Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges, and black sesame seeds before serving.
