  • ¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter with 1¼ cups blueberries over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla; temper the mixture by adding a spoonful of the blueberry mix while whisking.
  4. Combine the egg mixture with the blueberry mixture; then add cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle reserved blueberries on top.
  6. Bake for 25-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with minimal crumbs.
